          Modern ways of collecting Public Health Data           

     As we know that collecting data for public health is essential and serve ten services; to evaluate, investigate, mobilize, monitor, educate and empower, for policy development, and finally to enforce and link. There are traditional means and new means for data collection such as HL7(Health Level 7), mHealth app, EHR, and web-based interfaces. These new means are now replacing the traditional ones once implemented and used properly. HL7, the set of standers that made it easier to collecting and sharing data between various healthcare providers in an effective and efficient way compared to old means and is used for both administrative and clinical data. Moreover, mHealth apps are more for end-user to permit data collection plus they allow access for public health information Sehaty app for example such technology is efficient in reducing cost and infrastructure need. Web-based interfaces made it easy for the public health agency to open their systems to their partners to enter the data to be collected as well as direct access a hospital enter the result of COVID-19 swabs directly to the Public Health Authority for example.
